Blake is a challenging Hero WOD that combines overhead stability with leg endurance, jumping, and pressing. The overhead walking lunges are the unique element.
- Overhead lunges require shoulder stability—break as needed
- Use the box jumps to recover from lunges
- Wall balls after lunges will burn—pace accordingly
- HSPU are only 10 per round—try for unbroken
- The overhead position is taxing—don't let your ego choose the weight
Pacing
Controlled on lunges, steady on box jumps and wall balls, aggressive on HSPU. The overhead lunges set the tone for each round.
