Strategy & Tips
Open 20.1 combines ground-to-overhead (any style) with bar-facing burpees for 10 rounds. The 15-minute cap allows for a sustainable pace.
- GTO can be snatch, clean and jerk, or clean and press—choose wisely
- Power snatch is typically fastest for this weight
- Burpees should be steady—don't sprint and crash
- 10 rounds means pacing matters—don't burn out early
- Touch-and-go reps on GTO save time
Pacing
Controlled and consistent. Each round should take about 90 seconds or less. Find a rhythm and maintain it.
